This condition is an underrecognized, benign condition of the oral mucosa. A 26-year-old female patient with type 2 diabetes mellitus presented with sudden-onset painless blood blisters on her soft palate. It was clinically diagnosed based on the clinical presentation and spontaneously resolved. Some medical conditions, including diabetes mellitus, hypertension, and inhaled steroids, can be a risk factor of this condition. Clinicians should be aware of this condition and consider the possibility of an associated underlying condition.
